**Politician Refuses to Cooperate with Investigative Commission**
Givi Targamadze, a Georgian politician, has announced that he will not attend a hearing summoned by the temporary parliamentary investigative commission.
The commission had requested Targamadze’s explanations regarding the state of defense, security, and human rights in Georgia between 2004 and 2012. The summons was sent to him via post on April 3 at 11:00 AM.
**Targamadze Responds with Disdain**
In response to the summons, Targamadze posted a scathing message on social media, calling the commission “unworthy” of his attention. He claimed that he had never intended to cooperate with the commission and questioned its legitimacy.
Targamadze pointed out that the commission was formed based on a private letter from a Russian woman, which he deemed suspicious. He also referenced a previous incident where a former colleague, Sozar Subari, joked about extraditing him to Russia for questioning.
**Targamadze Shifts Blame**
The politician attempted to shift the blame onto others, stating that human rights were not his responsibility and security was handled by another department. He expressed frustration with being summoned to testify before a commission he does not trust.
