Gov’t declares October 25 a holiday after CEC request

the basis of appeal from the Central of Georgia, the Government of Georgia declared a public holiday.
Central Commission (CEC) says that the decision was by the government on a request to the CEC. The CEC said the decision was based on the fact that the polling station are located public and schools, which could cause delays to the setting up of polling stations on working days.
The CEC also stated that out of the ,031 precincts for elections, 483 are kindergartens, 1,675 in public schools and 873 in other facilities.
