**Strong Georgia Calls for New Elections**
The Foreign Secretary of Strong Georgia, Grigol Gegelia, says that the best way to end the crisis in the country is through new elections. This would bring social and political peace among people.
Gegelia believes that Bidzina Ivanishvili will have to back down and call for these elections soon. The sooner this happens, the better it will be for Georgia.
**The Current Situation**
According to Gegelia, Georgian Dream did not expect the determination of the Georgian people. They are in shock after facing significant blows, including sanctions, international isolation, and internal defections. A high-ranking GDD officer has resigned, six diplomats have stepped down, and the business community has shown its disapproval.
**A Grassroots Movement**
Gegelia says that this is a grassroots process where the leader is the people, not any single politician. The protest is peaceful and persistent, and when you are on the side of truth, the power is with you.
**The Opposition’s Victory**
He points out that the opposition won the last election, but Georgian Dream was declared the winner due to manipulation. Even then, they only got 37% of the votes while the opposition got 52%.
**A Call for New Elections**
Gegelia stresses that new elections are necessary for stability and peace in the country. He says that Ivanishvili will have to back down and announce new elections soon.
