The Guardian reported that U.K. counterterrorism officials are investigating if Russian intelligence agents planted an incendiary inside a package that caught fire in a warehouse near Birmingham.
It is believed that the parcel, which was engulfed in fire at a DHL facility on July 22, was transported to this location by an airliner.
Investigators reported that the fire did not result in any injuries or significant damages. Investigators are unsure if the plane was a passenger or cargo airliner and where it was headed.

Over the past year, several other suspects were arrested in Poland, Austria and Denmark, as well as Estonia for allegedly spying on behalf of Russia or collaborating with Russian intelligence.
