**MPs Attack National Movement Over Double Standards**
A member of the “People’s Power” faction, Guram Macharashvili, has spoken out against the collective “National Movement.” He says they claim not to recognize the legitimacy of parliament, but still take money from it.
Macharashvili said that the National Movement wants to get salaries and funding from parliament, but refuses to do their part. “They have a double, triple, and even quadruple standard,” he said.
The MP also criticized the National Movement for having a representative in the Central Election Commission (CEC) if they don‘t recognize its legitimacy. He asked why they would send someone to work there if they don’t believe it’s legitimate.
**”For Strong Georgia” Accused of Double Standards**
Macharashvili also attacked the “For Strong Georgia” party for their approach to property declarations. The Anti-Corruption Bureau has requested that members of the National Movement submit their declarations, but the party says they won’t because they don’t recognize parliament.
Macharashvili called this a “Bolshevik approach,” saying that they want rights for themselves but expect others to do their part. He said that times have changed and this kind of behavior is no longer acceptable.
**National Movement Refuses to Submit Declarations**
Members of the National Movement say they won’t submit property declarations because they don’t recognize parliament’s legitimacy. They claim they are not MPs, so it would be unreasonable for them to do so.
