**Estonia Told to Stay Out of Georgia‘s Affairs**
Guram Macharashvili, a Georgian deputy, responded sharply to Estonia’s parliament after they made a statement about Georgia. He said that no one from Estonia or its government should tell the Georgian people how to arrange their electoral system.
Macharashvili was angry because he thinks Estonia is trying to interfere in Georgia’s affairs. He said that Estonia has trade relations with Russia, and if they have problems, it’s with themselves, not Georgia.
**Dependence on Foreign Influence**
The Georgian deputy also said that the Baltic states, including Estonia, are too dependent on foreign influence. This means that their governments are controlled by outside forces, rather than the people of those countries.
He added that Estonia and its government should look to their own national interests, not try to tell Georgia what to do. Macharashvili accused Estonia’s parliament of being part of a “Deep State” that tries to control other countries.
**Ignoring US Advice**
Macharashvili also criticized Estonia for ignoring the United States’ advice to prioritize national interests. He said that Estonia’s statement was actually against the words and orders spoken by the U.S. president and the Secretary of State.
**Estonia Should Focus on Its Own Country**
The Georgian deputy told Estonia to focus on its own country, rather than trying to control Georgia. He said that Estonia should understand that times have changed and they can’t just push their agenda without considering others’ interests.
