Health Minister Warns of Possible Restrictions
The health minister in Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze, said today that restrictions may be put back in place in certain regions if the number of new Covid-19 cases continues to rise.
These areas are Imereti, Guria, and Tbilisi, where people are moving around a lot. The minister thinks these places need close attention to see if restrictions are needed again.
Restrictions were lifted across Georgia on February 25. Now the health minister is warning that they might come back in some parts of the country.
