A leak of emails from a Russian defense company has revealed that Russia continued to supply air defense systems and missiles to Saudi Arabia despite the invasion of Ukraine. The emails confirm that Russia fulfilled a huge contract signed just before the attack.
The company’s records also show that other countries, including India, China, Algeria, Egypt, and many others, bought Russian weapons during the war. This means Russia still gets export revenue from its arms trade, even with sanctions in place.
