**EU Takes Notice of Georgia’s Election Concerns**
The European Union is taking action after concerns were raised about the fairness of Georgia’s recent parliamentary elections. On November 18, EU leaders met to discuss the situation.
According to Josep Borrell, the EU’s top diplomat for foreign affairs, a mission will be sent to Georgia to investigate the allegations of election fraud. Mr. Borrell also said that the head of the OSCE observer group in Georgia would be invited to present his assessment of what went wrong during the October 26 elections.
