The European Council will be meeting in Brussels, Belgium on December 14-15th to discuss the enlargement packages that involve ten countries. The key issues are the granting of Georgia the status as a candidate to join the EU, the initiation of membership negotiations with Ukraine, Moldova, and the EU’s perspective on the Western Balkans.
