**Ukrainian Drones Strike Russian Oil Refinery**
Last night, Ukrainian drones successfully attacked a key oil refinery in Russia‘s Krasnodar Krai region. The facility, located in the town of Tuapse, was damaged by at least 40 explosions and a fire.
According to an anonymous source from Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR), the attack on the refinery resulted in significant damage to the oil refining equipment. However, it is unclear if there were any casualties or injuries.
This incident comes just hours after Russia reported that 128 Ukrainian drones had been shot down over the country, with 83 of them targeting areas in Krasnodar Krai. Unverified videos on social media show explosions and fires at a nearby seaport, but it is unclear if there was any damage or casualties.
The HUR source stated that the refinery and port play an important role in supplying the Russian army’s military logistics. The Tuapse oil terminal is one of the largest in Russia, and the Tuapse port is a key cargo hub on the Black Sea.
This is not the first time Ukraine has targeted the Rosneft-owned Tuapse refinery. In May, Ukrainian drones struck the facility, causing an emergency shutdown. Since then, Ukraine has escalated its attacks on Russian oil industry targets, successfully reducing the processing capacities of several facilities.
