Analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War observed that language barriers and poor coordination are hindering joint operations between Russian and North Korean forces. Earlier, there was an incident where North Korean forces opened fire at vehicles belonging to the “Akhmat” battalion, killing eight Chechen soldiers. This was reportedly caused by a language barrier between the Russian and North Korean troops.
