The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the Federation of Journalists (EFJ) have condemned attacks on journalists in Serbia. They are worried about media restrictions and journalists being fired.

Reporters like Milan Srdic were stopped from doing their job. Some even got death threats. A news portal, KRIK, was sued by a government official who is under investigation a train accident. This shows that the government is not respecting journalists’ .
