UFC Fighter Supports Protests in Georgia
Topuria, a UFC champion, has spoken out on social media in support of the ongoing protests in Tbilisi. He expressed his disapproval of the decision to suspend EU accession negotiations.
On Instagram, Topuria wrote that it’s shameful to see how Georgian children are being treated. He called this situation “not freedom”. Instead, he wants a better future for Georgia and believes that continuing European integration is key to progress and opportunities for all citizens.
Topuria urged Georgians to fight together for a democratic and free country. His statement was published on his Instagram story.
