The Georgian UFC fighter Ilia Topuria beat the American Max Holloway to retain the featherweight championship belt in the third round.
Topuria said he dedicated his victory to Georgia in hopes that children would look up to him. He said that his foot injury made the first round more difficult, but he still found strength.
It was an emotional moment to be the first fighter to knockout Holloway. In just one year I knocked both Holloway Volkanovski out,” he said.
This victory marks an impressive record of 16 victories over 16 MMA battles.
