A “TBS Capital report” claims that electricity production will increase by 1.1% per year in 2023.
In 2023, Georgia exported electricity worth 103 million dollars abroad in 11 months. This is the highest volume of export since 2010 and the highest indicator of income of all years.
The same data shows that electricity consumption has decreased by 7.8% per annum. The main reason for this decline is the reduced demand for electricity from direct consumers.
