Afghanistan bought the most Russian flour in 2024. This was announced by Russia’s state agricultural export agency, Agroexport.
The country spent nearly $80 million on Russian flour. This is double what they spent last year. Afghanistan relies heavily on imported flour because it doesn’t have enough production capacity at home.

**Russia’s Export Goals**
Russia’s overall flour exports reached $300 million in 2024. China and Turkmenistan were also among the top buyers. Russia wants to increase its exports and encourage foreign investment in Afghanistan.
