Russian Attack on Ukraine Causes Injuries and Damage
Over the past day, five people were injured in attacks by Russian forces on Chernihiv and Kherson oblasts.
On November 25, Russia launched multiple drone and missile attacks across Ukraine. Ukrainian officials reported injuries and damage in several oblasts.
In Zaporizhzhia, dozens of drones flew over the city during the night. A 13-year-old boy was injured, but his wounds were treated on site and he did not need to go to the hospital. Private homes and a non-residential building were also damaged.
In Kyiv, air defense systems were active for four hours as Russian forces launched attack drones against the capital. Debris fell in two districts of the city, and several vehicles were damaged. However, there were no casualties reported.
The Ukrainian Air Force intercepted 71 out of 145 Russian drones on November 25. One drone even diverted to Belarus. Air defense systems were active across 14 oblasts.
In Kherson Oblast, three people were injured and three high-rise buildings and 22 houses were damaged. In Chernihiv Oblast’s Koriukivka district, a 28-year-old man was also injured.
