**Russian Strikes Against Ukraine Cause Civilian Casualties**
On January 13, Russian strikes against Ukraine resulted in the death of one civilian and injuries to 17 others. Regional authorities reported this information.
**Drones Launched from Russia**
Ukrainian Air Force said that Russian forces launched 110 drones at Ukraine overnight from directions in Russia. The drones were shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, and mobile firing groups.
**Areas Hit**
In Sumy Oblast, a fire broke out at a children’s health center due to debris from a Russian drone. No casualties were reported. An FPV drone strike damaged a bus and injured three civilians in the Myropilska community. A residential building caught on fire in the Seredyna-Buda community, injuring one person.
**Other Oblasts Affected**
In Kherson Oblast, 10 people were injured due to Russian attacks on critical infrastructure. In Donetsk Oblast, one person was injured in Pokrovsk. In Zaporizhia Oblast, two civilians were injured during a Russian attack.
**Other News**
The Slovak government was accused of refusing to allow a plane carrying Ukrainian officials to enter Polish airspace. The NIS attributed high casualties to soldiers’ lack of understanding of modern warfare.
