Russian Attacks in Ukraine Leave Two Dead, 21 Injured
Overnight on Feb. 3, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using Shahed-type drones and decoy drones. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that it shot down 38 of the incoming drones.
However, despite these efforts, 33 other drones were able to reach their targets. One person was killed in the Kherson Oblast region, while 13 others were injured, including two children. This attack also caused damage and injuries in Donetsk Oblast.
In Kharkiv Oblast, a woman and a man were hurt by a drone attack and suffered burns. A 70-year-old man was also wounded in an attack on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Regional authorities reported that at least two civilians were killed and 21 others injured across Ukraine due to Russian attacks over the past day.
