Regional authorities reported that Russian attacks on Ukraine killed five people, and injured at least thirty-four others in the past day.
The Air Force reported that Ukrainian forces shot down 12 of the 17 Shahed drones launched overnight by Russia. The Air Force reported that four more drones had been “lost”.
The statement said that overnight, Russia fired seven S-300/400 and two Kh-59 rockets on Mykolaiv Oblast as well as two Kh-59 rockets on Chernihiv Oblast.
According to Vitalii Kim, a Russian missile attack on the city Mykolaiv resulted in the death of a woman and at least 23 injuries. The attack damaged a restaurant, an industrial facility, shops, residential structures, and cars.
Vadym Fillashkin, the governor of Donetsk Oblast said that three people were injured in Shakhtarske village. In the region, two more people were injured in the villages of Zakitne & Riznykivka.
In Kherson Oblast Russian forces targeted 22 settlements including the regional centre of Kherson. Governor OleksandrProkudin reported that four people were killed and six injured.
