**Russian Torture Chambers in Ukraine**
In 2022, Russian forces set up nearly 30 torture chambers in different parts of the Kharkiv Oblast. One such chamber was located at the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. This story will focus on this particular chamber.

On January 10, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian army command post in Svitlodarsk, Donetsk Oblast. According to Ukraine’s Armed Forces General Staff, this was a successful operation.

**Ukraine Receives Military Aid**
Kurakhove has become a key location in the Russian offensive in Donetsk Oblast. Ukrainian drones were able to “overload” Russian air defenses, with one missile hitting the site shortly after. The US has also provided military aid to Ukraine, including additional air defense batteries and howitzers.
**European Union Provides Funds**
The European Union has provided funds to Ukraine, secured through income from frozen Russian assets. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this initiative, which will help support Ukraine’s economy.
**Russia Suffers Heavy Losses**
Russian forces suffered 1,830 casualties over the past day alone. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia launched 72 drones at Ukraine overnight.
**Norway to Provide Military Aid**
Norway has agreed to provide military aid to Ukraine in 2025. This will be the largest military aid package in Norway’s history.
