Irakli Garibashvili was elected as the party’s chairman by the congress of “Georgian Dream“. Garibashvili was unanimously elected as the chairman of “Georgian Dream”.
“The candidacy for Mr. Irakli Garibashvili to the post of Chairman has been unanimously accepted.” Irakli Kobakhidze, former chairman of the “Georgian Dream”, said that he congratulated Mr. Irakli for his three-year tenure as Prime Minister and thanked him for the success he brought to our country during this time.
The Georgian Dream party congress is being held at the Paragraph hotel in Tbilisi. Bidzina ivanishvili, the founder and honorary chairperson of “Georgian Dream”, is attending the party’s congress.
