Recep Tayyip Erdoan, President of the Republic of Turkey, congratulated Irakli Garibashvili for becoming Prime Minister of Georgia.
In the official letter of congratulations received by the Head of the Government of Georgia, President of the Republic of Turkey emphasizes the importance of developing a strategic partnership with Georgia.
“On behalf of myself and the Turkish people, I cordially congratulate you on your appointment to the position of Prime Minister of friendly Georgia.
“You know how much we value the political stability and territorial integrity Georgia. We celebrated the 100th anniversary with Georgia of the establishment diplomatic relations, as it was the first country that opened an embassy in Ankara.
“I am confident with Your Excellency’s support, strategic partnership and exemplary respectful neighborly relations with Georgia will continue and grow in all areas. I am confident that our combined efforts will contribute significantly to peace, stability, and comprehensive cooperation in this region.
In a letter of congratulations, Recep Tayyip Erdoan, President of the Republic of Turkey, notes: “I wish Your Excellency health and happiness as well as that of our friendly people of Georgia.”
