Georgian and Armenian Leaders Meet
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, met with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan. The meeting was a chance for both leaders to talk about their countries’ close relationship.
They discussed several important topics during their face-to-face meeting. These included issues that will be covered at the upcoming Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation. This commission helps to boost trade and economic ties between the two countries.
The current situation in the region was also talked about. Georgian Prime Minister Kobakhidze said his country is ready to promote dialogue and help ensure stability and peace in the area. This, he believes, will allow the countries to continue growing and developing.
Kobakhidze and Pashinyan also highlighted the close relationship between their two nations. They mentioned that high-level talks have taken place in various formats and that they cooperate closely on many issues.
The next session of the commission is expected to help increase trade and economic ties between Georgia and Armenia even further.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze invited Prime Minister Pashinyan to visit Georgia officially.
