**New Head of Georgia’s State Security Service Gets Top Job**
In a ceremony at the agency, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze welcomed Anri Okhanashvili as the new head of Georgia’s State Security Service. Kobakhidze praised Okhanashvili for his years of service and skills that will help him lead the agency well.
**Okhanashvili: A Seasoned Government Official**
Okhanashvili has experience working in government. He was once the chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee, and later served as Georgia’s Minister of Justice. Kobakhidze said he is confident that Okhanashvili will be a good leader because he is honest, smart, and respected by others.
**Gratitude to Liluashvili**
The Prime Minister also thanked the former head of the agency, Grigol Liluashvili. He praised Liluashvili for his work in keeping Georgia safe during difficult times. Kobakhidze expressed gratitude to Liluashvili’s deputies as well. They include Aleksi Batiashvili, Giga Nikoleishvili, Levan Akhobadze, and Shengeli Ftskhleauri.
