**Georgia’s PM Sees Bright Future Ahead**
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, is confident that relations between his country and the USA will improve. He also believes that ties with the European Union will strengthen.
Kobakhidze made these comments in response to questions about the discussion on Georgia at the Council of Foreign Affairs of the European Union on November 18. He said that cooperation with the EU is going as planned.
As for specific politicians, Kobakhidze said that he is not interested in working with Andrews Kubilius and Rasa Yuknevichiene. He claimed that resources for cooperation with them are almost completely used up. The Prime Minister added that their actions have led to this situation.
Kobakhidze pointed out that two important events have already taken place – the US election and the end of Georgia’s parliamentary elections. He expects that a third event, the end of the war in Ukraine, will soon happen as well. After these three events, he believes that relations between Georgia and both the USA and the EU will improve.
When asked about the possible suspension of visa liberalization for Georgia, Kobakhidze dismissed it as “absolutely not serious”.
**Georgia’s Main Priority**
Kobakhidze stressed that integration into the European Union is his country’s main foreign policy priority. He stated that Georgia has fulfilled over 90% of its obligations under the Association Agreement and the Free Trade Agreement within four years.
