**Georgian Prime Minister Speaks Out Against Khazaradze’s Claims**
The Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, has responded to a statement made by Mamuka Khazaradze. Khazaradze had claimed that the United States should immediately return investments to Anaklia.
According to Kobakhidze, Khazaradze was previously in charge of attracting investors to Georgia and had complete freedom to do so. However, he failed to attract either American or European investments.
Kobakhidze accused Khazaradze of making “empty speculation” about American investments. He pointed out that Khazaradze had previously spoken positively about Chinese investments in Anaklia, but now seems to be treating them as a crime against the country.
**Freedom to Attract Investors**
The Prime Minister emphasized that when Khazaradze was responsible for attracting investors, he had complete freedom and could attract any investor. However, despite this freedom, Khazaradze failed to secure American or European investments.
Kobakhidze stated that any statements made by Khazaradze about American investments are therefore “empty speculation” and likely aimed at manipulating public opinion.
