Once the elections and the war in Ukraine are over, the relations between the US and EU will be completely reset. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said to journalists that we have received very positive signals from our strategic allies.
According to him the relationship will be reset sooner than predicted.
“Since 2012 we have enjoyed record support. [The opposition] knows exactly what the ratings are. We never lie or make mistakes when we speak. The Georgian people were deceived eight times and “Georgian Dream‘ has won 8 elections convincingly. After deceiving their constituents 8 times, they don’t have the courage or the honor to look them in the eye again. They lied 8 times to their supporters that they would win the elections. But they did not feel ashamed when they lost. This will be the ninth time that the opposition loses this election badly. This election will have a record number of votes, well over a half million. This indicator is based on several factors: 1. To maintain peace in the country despite blackmail and pressure. 2. During the four years we have increased the economy of the country by 40 billion GEL. In this way, we have reduced unemployment and poverty. The average salary has increased. A rating of 60% is no reason to relax. The man in the hat has to come out. Every vote is equally valuable. We also need to have a constitutional majority. We have a bigger goal than simply winning the majority. We want the constitutional majority to ensure the stability of the country. The man in the hat will do that. If only European integration were a guarantee of the peace in this case, then there would also be peace in Ukraine. But dignity, sovereignty and independence are the only guarantees of peace. There will be no loss [of partners]. Once these elections are over and the war in Ukraine is over the relations between the US and EU will be completely reset. We have received very positive signals.
