**Georgia’s PM Criticizes Report on Visa-Free Travel**
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has responded to a report by the European Commission. The commission said it is considering suspending visa-free travel for certain groups due to developments in Georgia.
Kobakhidze called this talk “frivolous”. He thinks it’s disturbing when people, politicians, and bureaucrats compare laws on same-sex relationships with European integration.
**Anti-LGBT Law Explained**
The PM explained the anti-LGBT law. It says that same-sex partnerships can’t be legalized in Georgia. The law also doesn’t change a person’s gender through surgery. It does not force people to use neutral terms when talking about gender. The law only recognizes two genders, men and women.
**Concerns Over European Integration**
Kobakhidze expressed concerns that some people think the anti-LGBT law is against European integration. He thinks this approach hurts Europe‘s reputation in Georgia. 20 years ago, discussions on such topics were rare. Today, the situation has changed.
