Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, made some comments about the country’s President, Salome Zurabishvili.
The Prime Minister was asked to talk about statements made by President Zurabishvili. She had said she might leave her office in the Presidential Palace.
Kobakhidze replied that he couldn’t be serious when talking about this issue. He compared President Zurabishvili to a character from an old American movie called “Funny Girl“. He thought this title was fitting for the President.
The Prime Minister didn’t want to make any official comment on the matter. His response shows that he doesn’t take the situation seriously.
