**Georgian PM Attacks EU Ambassador**
The Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, has strongly criticized the European Union‘s ambassador to Georgia. Yesterday, the ambassador claimed that the EU had stopped the European integration process of Georgia. Today, he made a similar claim – that Georgia itself had stopped this process.
**Georgians Losing Trust in EU**
The Prime Minister said that these false claims are causing Georgians to lose trust in European institutions. A recent survey by the European Union found that trust in its institutions among Georgians has fallen by 6% over six months, to a record low of 58%.
**Georgia Complying with EU Obligations**
Kobakhidze said that Georgia is continuing to meet all of its obligations related to European integration. The country is working towards fulfilling more than 90% of its commitments under the Association Agenda and the Free Trade Agreement by 2028.
**PM Warns Against Manipulation**
The Prime Minister warned against using the issue of opening negotiations as a way to divide society, disrupt the country, or create chaos. He said that this would only lead Georgia further away from integration into the European Union, rather than closer.
