Irakli , the Prime Minister of , press conference during which he claimed to have a “peaceful” the elections. He stated that more than 3,100 of Georgia’s 3111 polling stations operated without any issues despite numerous reports of violence.
He accused opposition-leaning television stations of exacerbating the tensions, and questioned their timing in covering incidents. He suggested that many incidents had been staged or incited the ground by journalists.
Kobakhidze claimed that has achieved a “ win,” but he also noted that a majority constitutional is not yet guaranteed. He urged citizens to cast their ballots. He repeated the GD narrative, framing elections as a choice of “war and peace,” between “immoral propaganda” and traditional values,” or “the dark past and bright future of Georgia”.
