**Georgian PM Criticizes EU Move**
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has spoken out against a decision by the European Union‘s Foreign Affairs Council. The Council recommended that visa-free travel for diplomatic passport holders be suspended.
Kobakhidze said this move is “anti-Georgian” and damages trust in European structures among Georgians. He stated that while the recommendation is largely symbolic, it sends a negative message.
**Trust in EU Drops**
The Prime Minister pointed out that a recent survey showed that trust in European institutions has decreased by 6% over the past six months. Kobakhidze believes this decision will continue to erode trust among Georgians.
**Kobakhidze’s Reaction**
In a press conference, Kobakhidze responded to the EU’s decision. He emphasized that such moves undermine the credibility of European structures and result in their devaluation in Georgian society.
