**Strong Georgia Coalition Members Summoned to Prosecutor’s Office**
The office manager and lawyer of Strong Georgia, a political coalition in Georgia, have been called to the Prosecutor’s Office. This move has been seen as an attempt by the current government to exert pressure on the opposition.
“We do not intend to go there,” said Irakli Kupradze, a member of the Strong Georgia coalition. “But we are ready to appear before a magistrate judge in a courtroom at any time.”
The summoning of Tornike Artkmeladze, office manager and lawyer of Strong Georgia, has been viewed as part of a broader campaign against the opposition. The Prosecutor’s Office is known for making decisions based on political calculations.
**Opposition Will Not Back Down**
According to Irakli Kupradze, the coalition will inform their Western partners about all types of pressure being exerted against them. Strong Georgia’s leaders, Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze, were previously summoned to the Prosecutor’s Office.
“We openly declare to the public that we are accountable to the citizens of Georgia, to national interests, and to our two main demands—new elections and the release of political prisoners,” said Irakli Kupradze. “We will continue our fight.”
