Two children died in a tragic accident in Batumi‘s “Dream City”. They were just 4 and 5 years old.
The leader of the party “Strong Georgia“, Irakli Kupradze, is very angry about this. He says it was not an accident, but a crime. He blames the people who run the city for being careless and irresponsible.
Recently, these leaders had a big event to show off their plans for new buildings in the area. They spent 209,000 GEL (about $70,000 USD) on this event. But they did not make sure the construction site was safe.
As a result, two children drowned in water-filled trenches at the site. Kupradze says this is not an accident, but a crime that will have serious consequences.
This is not the first time something like this has happened in Georgia. There have been several accidents in public places where people were killed or hurt. Kupradze says the leaders are always quick to blame someone else for these accidents, instead of taking responsibility themselves.
Kupradze wants the leaders to be held accountable for what happened. He asks if we will forgive them this time, but warns that if we do, there will be more crimes like this in the future.
