Here’s the rewritten news article:
Five people accused of participating in group violence were in court. They were not given enough space to breathe comfortably.
One of them, Irakli Miminoshvili, made a request to Judge Irakli Khuskivadze. He said that two people standing close together for too long would suffocate each other. The judge did not move the courtroom or make any changes.
Miminoshvili started feeling unwell in court because of the lack of air. An ambulance was called to take him to the hospital. Doctors later confirmed that Miminoshvili became sick due to a lack of oxygen in the crowded courtroom.
Human rights defenders said that keeping people like this in such conditions is a form of torture. They pointed out that instead of thinking about arguments, people are worried about getting enough air to breathe.
One lawyer also apologized to a police officer in court for making an incorrect statement earlier. The lawyer had wrongly accused one of the officers of being involved in organized crime and violence against young people.
The five detainees facing 4-6 years of imprisonment are: Giorgi Gorgadze, Irakli Miminoshvili, Insaf Aliyev, Tornike Goshadze, and Nikoloz Javakhishvili. Three others accused of organizing group violence face 6-9 years of imprisonment.
