**Parliamentary Commission to Report Former Defense Minister**
A parliamentary commission is taking action against a former government minister. The commission wants the Prosecutor‘s Office to investigate Irakli Okruashvili, who was Georgia’s Defense Minister.
The reason for this step is that Okruashvili did not show up at one of the commission’s meetings. This made it impossible for him to answer questions about his time in office.
Tea Tsulukiani, head of the parliamentary commission, said that because Okruashvili refused to appear, they decided to send a complaint to the Prosecutor’s Office. All members of the commission agreed with this decision.
If all goes as planned, the case will be sent to the Prosecutor’s Office today.
