Iran Denies Meeting Between Envoy and

Iran’s Foreign Minister says there was no meeting between the country’s UN envoy and billionaire Elon Musk. Reports of a one-hour conversation New York on Monday were dismissed by Iran as “media fabrication”.

The minister said that such a meeting would not be appropriate at this time, especially since the new US administration has not yet clarified its policies.

Reports of the meeting were first made by US , including The New York Times. However, Iran called these reports “a fabricated story by American media” and said they were intended to test the waters for such an occurrence.

Araqchi emphasized that Iran’s leadership had not authorized any meeting between the country’s UN envoy and Elon Musk. He referred to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in making this point.
