Israel and Hezbollah’s Attacks Spark Fears of All-Out War

​Fighting between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah resumed on Monday, breaking brief period of calm after a weekend of intense strikes. According state and witnesses, Israeli attacks targeted the Lebanese border village of Tair Harfa and the coastal city of , with reports of a car being hit in the latter strike. In a video broadcast on the Hezbollah-controlled Manar TV, leader Hassan Nasrallah stated on Sunday that the group had delayed their response to the killing of one of their commanders in in order to allow potential ceasefire negotiations.
