**North Korean Troops in Ukraine?**
Reports are emerging that North Korean soldiers have arrived in the occupied city of Mariupol. However, a regional military command has denied this claim.
According to Ukrainian sources speaking with CNN, Pyongyang’s soldiers were spotted operating in Kharkiv Oblast. But the region’s military command has dismissed these reports as false.
**North Korea‘s Involvement**
This is not North Korea’s first foray into supporting Russia’s war efforts against Ukraine. They have supplied millions of artillery shells to Russia and provided missiles as well. Additionally, it was previously reported that 11,000 North Korean soldiers were deployed in Kursk Oblast to fight against Ukrainian forces.
**Technical Advisers**
CNN has received information from a Ukrainian “security source” claiming that North Korean technical advisers have arrived in Mariupol. These personnel are reportedly conducting support operations while wearing Russian military uniforms. They remain separate from Russian units, maintaining their own living quarters, food supplies, and entertainment facilities.
