**Italy and Ukraine Team Up for Agriculture Project**
Italy has signed a deal with Ukraine to start the Pro.UKR project. This project will help make agriculture in Ukraine more sustainable and secure food supplies.
The 11 million euro ($11.9 million) project will give farmers, breeders, and cooperatives new tools and technologies to grow crops better. It will also provide systems for irrigation, which will help with production and organization.
Italian Ambassador Carlo Formosa said that Italy is committed to helping Ukraine strengthen its food security and agriculture.
Ukraine’s Agriculture Minister Vitaliy Koval said this project is another step towards making Ukrainian agriculture stronger. He thanked Italy for their continued support.
This agreement follows a previous one where Italy agreed to give 13 million euros ($13.5 million) to help restore Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
