US Lawmaker Demands Release of Georgian Prisoner
The Chairman of the US Helsinki Commission, Congressman Joe Wilson, is calling for the immediate release of Mzia Amaglobeli and all other political prisoners from the regime of former Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili.
In a tweet on his X page, Congressman Wilson said: “Mzia Amaghlobeli and all of the political prisoners of the Ivanishvili regime must be immediately released! There must be free and fair elections!”
He is demanding that these individuals, who he believes are being unfairly detained, be set free. This comes at a time when concerns about electoral fairness in Georgia have been growing.
