According to Russian President Putin, his country is ready to agree to a US-proposed ceasefire in Ukraine. However, Russia demands guarantees that Ukraine will not mobilize or train troops, nor receive military aid during the ceasefire.
**Ukraine Receives Aid**
Ukraine has received the first tranche of $1.7 billion from Canada under the G7‘s Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) initiative. This funding is part of a broader effort to support Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.
**Russian Aggression**
Russia is accused of provoking instability in the region, particularly by the UK and NATO. Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev made this accusation, while Finnish Defense Minister Antti Hakkanen confirmed that his country would provide artillery ammunition to Ukraine due to its urgent need for such supplies.
**Drone Production**
A military intelligence source claimed that drone production lines were located on the grounds of an aerated concrete plant in Russia. This development has raised concerns about Russian military capabilities.
**Peace Settlement**
London and Paris are leading discussions among 37 countries from Europe, Asia, and the Commonwealth to shield Ukraine against future Russian aggression in case of a peace settlement.
