EU Limits Travel for Georgian Diplomats
The European Union has stopped allowing diplomats from Georgia to travel without a visa. This change was announced by EU High Representative Kaja Kallas.
Kallas said that the funds originally meant to help the government of Georgia will now go to non–governmental organizations (NGOs) and civil society groups instead. She made these comments in Brussels before a meeting of EU Foreign Affairs Ministers.
The EU ministers are set to discuss Georgia’s situation today.
