Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze Speaks Out Against European Bureaucrats.
Tbilisi‘s mayor, Kakha Kaladze, has spoken out against corrupt bureaucrats from Europe. He claims their statements are based on lies and have nothing to do with Europeanism or democracy.
Kaladze believes these statements will not harm the government. Instead, they will harm those who make them. “We are not afraid of their threats,” he said. “When it comes to the interests and future of our country, we will always stand where our homeland needs us.”
Georgia has made significant progress in terms of development and democratic processes. Kaladze pointed out that Baltic countries, which are members of NATO, had less engagement than Georgia. This shows that Georgia is a reliable partner.
Kaladze accused these bureaucrats of having radically different interests in relation to Georgia. He said they were not given the opportunity to use the country for their own interests. Unlike other situations, there has been no second front launched in the country, and Georgia has not joined sanctions.
“We have always pursued the interests of our country,” Kaladze said. “Their statements are lies and falsehood.”
