Tbilisi Mayor Speaks on Sanctions Imposed on Georgian Officials
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze made a statement about the sanctions imposed by Estonia on 14 Georgian officials, including Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. He said these sanctions are not a problem.
Kaladze believes that the current challenges will end after January 20, when the new US administration takes office. He thinks this change will have a significant impact globally, in Europe, and in Georgia.
The mayor called the sanctions “dirty policies” and said they are just temporary. He stated that everything will change and become better after January 20.
Kaladze also mentioned that the current situation has nothing to do with European values. He claimed that it’s an unfair and unjust time, but that things will improve soon.
