Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of the Lelo – Strong Georgia party, was supposed to appear at a parliamentary commission. However, he didn’t show up.
According to Kakha Kaladze, Secretary General of the Georgian Dream, Khazaradze avoided the commission because he and his partner, Zura Japaridze, don‘t want people to see what they did while Mikheil Saakashvili was in power.
Kaladze said there are many questions about Khazaradze’s actions during that time. He thinks this is why Khazaradze didn’t go to the commission. Now, he might face some consequences for not showing up.
The law says what should happen if someone doesn’t appear at a parliamentary commission. Kaladze said an appropriate response will be given.
