Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, who posted on his Facebook page, is currently undergoing medical exams in one of Tbilisi’s clinics.
He answers questions and rumors about his passive involvement in politics.
This is his Facebook post:
“Friends, a lot has been said about my location and why I’m not active by both my friends and strangers.
“I feel obliged: I was diagnosed with Vestibulopathy and Vertebrobasilar Syndrome. This is why I’m in Tbilisi at a clinic for medical examinations.
“I work remotely and continue treatment.” I wanted to make sure you got this information from me. “Until we meet again.”
Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency is a disorder characterized by a poor blood supply to the posterior part of the brain. This portion is fed by the two vertebral vessels that combine to form the basilar artery. Blockage of the arteries occurs with time due to a process known as atherosclerosis or plaque buildup.
