The Georgian Foreign Ministry Ilia Darchiashvili received a letter of thanks from the Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, and the Governor of Lviv Maksym Kzytskyy on Monday.
The Mayor and Governor expressed their gratitude to the Georgian Government on behalf of the Municipalities for the donation of generators.
According to the letter “the municipalities of Kharkiv, and Lviv, are grateful for the humanitarian assistance provided on the initiative of Prime Minister of Georgia which helps to overcome current challenges.”
Kozytskyy emphasized that the generators will not only help various facilities with their electrical problems, but also with winter problems.
“In a time of such great difficulty, every act performed to support Ukraine has a priceless value and brings us closer to victory. Igor Terekhov said, “I greatly appreciate your help.”
Kozytskyy concluded, “We wish the Georgians peace and prosperity in addition to our deep appreciation.”
On 6 January, Georgia donated 25 high-power generators to Ukraine.
